This peacock is easily recognized by its solid blue body and blood-red ventral fins. This variant of A. stuartgranti was the first peacock exported for the hobby. It was artificially transplanted at Thumbi West Island, Malawi by Peter Davies in the late 1970's but is originally from Cobue, Mozambique.
